Photographs of Joe

We didn't even know this photo existed until 2003 when a cousin of my mother's found it in her mom's things. We were very grateful to get this photo. It is the only military photo of him and the best quatlity photo of him.
This is my mom at her Dad's grave. After I got to Germany with the US Air Force, I looked on the map and I was only 3 hours from the cemetery. When my mom and my sister came to visit me in 2001, I was able to take them both to the cemetery in Holland. To our knowledge, no one in our family had been there before. Needless to say, it was an emotional triip for all of us.
This is my mom being held by her dad in about 1937.
Joe and three of his kids. The kids from left to right; Johnny, Betty (my mom), and Joe.
Joe and Teresa (my grandma) on their wedding day, Sept 14, 1935 in Carleton, Michigan
This is Joe with the husbands of a couple of my grandmother's sisters. From left to right; Bob DeCraene, John Novitch, and Joe
