Michael was probably born in Hermersberg, Germany
That is where he said he was from when he registered in Vienna during his
families immigration to Hungary between 1764 and 1766.17
He earned his living, or at least part of it, as a tailor in Hermersberg.16
He would marry Anna on 23 November 1745 in the nearby village of
Horbach.16
As mentioned, he emigrated in the mid 1760's with his family. They would
finally settle in the village of Boglár, which is in the Shildgebirge of
Hungary. This is where Michael would die on 12 May 1794.17
Anna Margaretha is the only child known of Peter Lutz and Maria Magdalena Reischmann. She was born in Weselberg, within eyesight of Hemersberg on 26 May 1727.16 Anna and Michael probably lived in Weselberg as this is where she would give birth to the first 8 of their 10 children. Their two youngest were born after their immigration to Hungary. Anna would die on the 16th of March, 1816.17
