Andreas was born into the Teppert family on 27 December 1778.15 He would marry Susanna Krembacher on 16 January 1798 in Apatin.15,6 Sometime after their marriage, probably in the pursuit of better opportunities and land of his own, they would move to Weprowatz. Here, Andreas seems to have found what he was pursuing as he is shown as owning his own land in the 1828 Hungarian land census. According to this, he owned 17 Joch (about 24 acres) of farmland, 16 1/2 Joch (about 23 1/2 acres) of meadow, 8 Joch (11 acres) of vineyard, 1 cow, 2 horses, and 1 pig. He also had 4 employees working his land for him. Andreas died on 15 June 1841 in Weprowatz.15
Susanna is the only known child of Johann George Krembacher and Magdalena Helmlinger. She was born 11 August 1779 in Apatin. She and Andreas would have 13 children; 2 in Apatin and the others after their move to Weprowatz. Of their 13 children, 3 of them would die between 1823 and 1827. The loss of so many children in such a short amount of time may have been too much for Susanna, as it would be for anyone. Susanna would follow her youngest son to the grave, just 31 days later, on 23 March 1827.15
