Simon was born in Bohemia sometime in 1751 to Rupertus and Helena Csihas13. He was about 15 years old when his family emigrated to Batschsentiwan in Hungary13. This is where he would marry Anna and raise at least one son. He would also die here on 3 November 1805.
Anna was the daughter of Benedickt and Margaretha Schiebli, born Saturday, 15 February 1777 in Apatin. Her Family would probably have moved to Batschsentiwan sometime during her childhood because this is where she would meet Simon and marry on 22 September 1795. I make the assumption that her family moved because the custom at the time was for the wedding to take place in the village of the bride.
